  • Description
As commander of the "Iron Snakes," you pilot a powerful Allied tank on the beaches of Normandy. On your way toward smashing the Nazi forces, you must also carry out secondary objectives and make contact with hidden agents. The graphics are good compared to other 8-bit shooters, but the creative integration of narrative and action is the best aspect of Iron Tank. This is accomplished mainly through a highly useful menu that contains an ever-changing map and radio communicator. Your superiors communicate orders and warnings directly to you through the radio, and its use successfully blends a constantly developing story into the action of an otherwise standard tank shooter.
