Description
Archon is an epic battle between the forces of light and dark, a game of careful strategy and arcade skill, where magic meets steel. Players choose to command the 'Army of Light' or the 'Dark Horde', each made up of unique fantasy creatures, then battle for control of power points, or just battle to the death... To win the game, capture all five power squares or destroy all enemies in combat. The board continually cycles through phases of light and dark. The power of the 'Army of Light' and the 'Dark Horde' waxes and wanes as their colour moves towards its apex. To ignore this is fatal - light and dark creatures gain critical advantages or have their weaknesses exposed. There are 16 different creatures to master, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
