Atari's DRAGON BALL Z: BUU'S FURY is the last in the Legacy of Goku trilogy of games. Picking up where the second left off, BUU'S FURY follows part of the later story line of the DRAGON BALL Z anime, starting right after the Cell Games. The game begins with Goku deciding not to return to Earth. After deciding this, he starts on a new adventure that leads him to battling the most fearsome foe in the DRAGON BALL Z universe, Majin Buu. As they work their way through the numerous levels, players will get to control Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and other familiar DRAGON BALL characters. The levels are set up like chapters, each feeling like an episode of the cartoon show. Following a story line that took nearly 100 episodes to tell, BUU'S FURY has a very fast-paced, action-packed plot that will make players feel like they're controlling the anime. The game even includes some recorded dialogue and very well-drawn artwork from the series. While the story line will be familiar to players who avidly watched the cartoon, some surprising changes have been incorporated to condense the story. DRAGON BALL Z fans won't want to miss the exciting conclusion to the Legacy of Goku trilogy or this exciting retelling of the storyline from the anime. Players who haven't played the previous two games in the series can easily pick up the story as well, since the game follows the anime.
