demonic realm to take over the world, ending what seemed to be an

This is the first "Final Fantasy" game, a new version of the one that came out for Nintendo in 1987, and was most recently ported to game boy advance along with"Final Fantasy II" as"Dawn of Souls". The first game, originally conceieved by Hironobu Sakaguchi, for Squaresoft , doesn't have the bells and whistles of the later games, but was impressive for its time. The character classes are all crude versions of those in later games and you meet "Bahamut" for the first time. Some of the music also made returns in other games in the series. If you never played it before, I would suggest it, the earlier versions are easy to play games, if you have played it before, get it again for the nostalgia value. |
