Vivendi Entertainment presents ROBOTS, an action-adventure game for the Pc Games based on the movie featuring Rodney Copperbottom, genius robot inventor. Rodney has just moved to the big city to work for a company founded by his hero, but not all is what it seems. Before Rodney knows what has happened, he’s uncovered a plot to take over the city that only he and his friends can foil. Being an inventor, Rodney sees only one way to solve all his problems: build a solution. Each level has Rodney searching for the parts he needs to complete his latest invention or upgrade an old one. Along the way, he will have to overcome evil robots and other challenges. Fortunately, Rodney can summon Wonderbot to help him out, using the other robot as a glider, trampoline, and other devices. There’s also the robot freeway, which has Rodney zooming between slower moving traffic while trying to defeat his racing rivals. The Pc Games version allows players to write notes on the touchscreen, making it easy to remember where things are. Fans of the movie will recognize many of the settings and characters because the same art and character models were used to create the game. ROBOTS fans won’t want to miss the first game based on the exciting movie, and action adventure gamers who enjoy sci-fi settings will want to pick up ROBOTS as well.
