You haven't seen racing until you've buckled up and turned the key in Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA. A follow-up to the immensely popular arcade game San Francisco Rush, the new version gives you a broader view of the country, with levels representing Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Seattle, New York (two different tracks), and many more. One of the best tracks is the stunt course, with vehicles of all shapes and sizes careening about and flipping through the air like pancakes. With 28 tracks and 16 cars in all, there's a little something for everyone. This is a whole new brand of auto racing. Imagine The Dukes of Hazzard taking to the highways and roaming the country doing their thing in every city: forging crazy shortcuts, conceiving ill-advised makeshift ramps, and avoiding the main roads altogether. You can either compete in a Single Race, or choose a Circuit mode, in which you get to feast on a number of courses. The split-screen Two-Player mode returns from the original, and the use of a Controller Pak allows you to save your progress.
