Neo Geo Pocket
There's no doubt about it: The Neo·Geo Pocket just plain rules. It has fulfilled my every expectations. At only 120 mm wide, it's smaller than a SNES cartridge, it has a battery life of 20 hours, and has a sprite handling ability comparable to that of the Mega Drive. The animation in King of Fighters R-1 just has to be seen to be believed.
The Neo Geo Pocket Color is here, with longer battery life (using AAs instead of AAAs), a larger screen, and 146 colours from a pallate of 4096. But the black and white Neo·Geo in your pocket still lives on, as SNK have stated that all future colour games will work on the original system.
