With a storyline placed right in the midst of the Episode 1 timeline, Star Wars: Episode I Battle for Naboo casts you as Lieutenant Gavyn Sykes in his struggle to save the planet Naboo. The story meets up with the movie at key points, but spins off to tell a tale all its own. Sykes is a security force volunteer who's ambition is to free his world from hundreds of attacking Neimoidians. Learning to make the most of the game's seven different vehicles (an N-1 Starfighter, a Gian speeder, and a Trade Federation gunboat among them) is the key to wiping out the enemy attack. Of course, that?s not going to be easy, as each of the 16 levels presents new challenges, varied terrain, and increasingly difficult gameplay. All of the action happens between the surface and orbit of Naboo, offering a remarkably detailed look at a classic Star Wars environment. A welal-designed game from top to bottom, this one's not just for the Star Wars fanatics.
