Microsoft's Kinect JoyRide is one of the first retail releases for Xbox
360 to use the Kinect hands-free accessory system. The kart-style racing
game is played through a controller-free interface that can sense
motion, detect gestures, and pick up spoken commands. Virtual drivers
steer and make their cars jump and slide by leaning, hopping, and
twisting their bodies in front of the Kinect three-dimensional sensor
device. A cooperative "Co-pilot" mode allows players to race as a team,
and online competition for up to eight is available through Xbox Live.
