Description
If you think all puzzle games are the same, or that you've seen everything that TETRIS games have to offer ? think again. A grand addition to the family, Tetrisphere eclipses its predecessors, challenging you to explode your way to the center of an enormous sphere. Choose from a long list of robot characters, each with different personality traits, that includes Wheels, Jak, Rocket, Gear, Turbine, and Stomp. The 3D game play takes place over 300 different levels, each more challenging than the last. The main objective is to pull the right combination of pieces out of a giant, rotating ball, forcing an explosion that will further open the gap to the ball's core. Each time you reach the center of the ball, you advance to the next level. If you get mixed up or take too much time figuring out how to make the combo, a block gets added to the outer part of the ball, making your job that much more difficult. Not only that, but three such mistakes will end your game entirely! With excellent audio-visual presentation and game play that's doubly worthy of the TETRIS name, this game is already a classic.

Another Great Tetris Game by John Lock 02 May 2007
Tetrisphere, will go down along it's other cousin as being one of the most addictive games that has ever been made by man. I have been stuck infront of it many a time, without control over my legs to move me away from it. The main game consist's of 10 levels each with 10 stages in them. On each level you have to break through to the middle layer and remove a certain amount of space around the middle layer's core. Sounds easy, well as a good puzzle game is, it gets really hard. Firstly, you have to compete with a timer, that when it gets low the whole sphere comes towards you and takes off a life if it gets too close. Secontly, you have to move and place pieces everywhere and it is common to make a mistake here and there under pressure. But this is only on game on the cart, there are many others, one which is a 'think' puzzle. The think puzzle gives you a certain amount over moves and drops, that you have to use to clear the level. It got really tricky one time, when I didn't know about GameFAQs.com, that I actually had to ring up the Nintendo Hotline to get the solution to one of the puzzles, that came out to be so easy that I missed it. Now don't think i'm stpid, because all the puzzles are like this. They all have a common-sense solution, you just have to find it, and that's harded that you think.
