Featuring up-to-date teams and players from the NHL, the game allows you to configure your matchups by adjusting a whopping 26 different settings. There are three difficulty settings, five speeds, three goalie difficulties, four referee settings ("Easy" to "Backbreaker"), and your choice of automatic or manual line changes. You can also adjust the announcer, sound effects, music, and organ to your liking. But that's not all … you can toggle injuries, fatigue, and fighting, and accept or decline standard rules for icing and penalties. To make things easy, you can choose default settings for Arcade or Simulation mode.
