Description

The hero of the game is Meis Triumph, a young blacksmith, the last representative of generations of spirit blacksmiths. One day a group of robbers attacks his hometown, and he is forced to leave to Boyzby, the capital city of the country. There he meets a lovely girl named Sodina, who introduces him to her brother, who also happens to be a spirit blacksmith. Soon the heroes discover that the attack on Meis' hometown was part of a much larger plan, and find themselves fighting for their lives.

"Thousand Arms" is an animé-style RPG with turn-based combat, that features 2D character sprites on polygonal background. It also has a unique twist: the addition of Japanese "dating sim" elements. Your way to get better equipment in the game is to develop your blacksmith skills. However, in order to do that you have to please your friend Sodina. Depending on the way you treat her, your relationship and therefore your progress as a blacksmith will change. The game features animé cut-scenes and voice-overs for important dialogues.

tips AND the last battle by JamesC 04 Jun 2008
I gots some revisions for previous tips AND the last battle

as far as dating goes---
on top of Sodina, Nelsha, Kyleen and Wyna, there are four other girls that Meis can date in this game. While not in your party, you can use the elemental power they provide at the local smithy.

Kyoka: soushi's sister (my favorite) in Boyzby after the 3rd altar. Soushi must be in party

Marion: Talk to her in her lab after the mounthand event. (shes a little ...off...)

Palma: Talk to her in the Langoud's elemental reactor. (note: act very very clean!)

Mil: while she's not exactly the girl from the prologue, she's okay. talk to her in front of the tree after Kant's residents return. When given a list of options, say "you're the girl that i liked from Kant." then you're on your own. be scientific!

that being said....

Final Battle: Ch14.

the Emperor is very easy until his final stage. unload on his first form with golda and Flareniel. **** go down :)

after transforming, he wont do anything but standby, so don't bother summoning, the battle ends after a few turns.

next, after Sodina's event, you will have full health, two new summons, old ones restored, and max EP. attack with everything but Sodine, which you should use only when your party is low on health. try to use the weaker summons. after defeating him, **** become even MORE of a badass, and turn into a voxtex with purple swords. what a pain. just keep blasting him, especially when he tries to heal.

other annoying crap that pepople get hung up on:

to get all the spells/summons/outfits/etc. forge all party member's weapons at EVERY intimacy level with EVERY girl. if you forged at lvl 3, you wont get benefits of level two. (this applies only to intimacy, not character level)

dont use Muza in front....Meis is SO much better. keep Muza in the second slot as a backup.

Kyleen, Nelsha, and Wyna are pretty useless unless you use them for special situations. Sodina's magic is the best, Meis can fend for himself, and Muza can take a lot of damage.
