Description
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is a skateboarding simulation in which you control a famous skate star around 3d environments. Each game area contains a plethora of objects like ramps, rails, and half-pipes which can be used to perform tricks. Each trick you perform earns you more points for your score.

shadowmariogalaxy64 / Aqualung, I have a request.When you reivew Mega Man 8, could it please be the Sega Saturn Version?It has the two easter eggs with battlign Cut Man and Wood Man, plus Tengu Man's theme is much better in that version.

Yeah, so everyone that thinks they're great b/c they can do the holy grind need to know that it's really not all that hard to pull off. My brother and all of his friends can do it, and I learned to do it in like, 20 minutes. Just a little practice is all you need.
If you start to lose your balance, to a 360 shove it and then land back on the grind. It give you more points and stabalizes you.
I can also get 900000 points in the game, but sorry, no screenshots. I don't feel I'm enough of a, uhm, loser to have to have proof of a score on some video game. =)

THPS 1 was great i never evere thought i would pla y a sk8board game and would like it my favorite level is chicago cause if u jump from the quater pipe on the back of the half pipe u can land on a rail on the celling that too tight and if u land it rith u can do a hand plant. Also THPS waz so GREAT because of the secret tapes. THPS 2 iz great but u must know how 2 beat THPS 1 to BEAT part 2 because there iz r some things in THPS 1 that u learn 2 play part 2 so please get this game IT iz OFF DA ChAiN and thiz IZ cOMMIN' FROM A BLACK GUY SO u KNow THIz GAmE iz tHe Stuff So get it it mak e me wanna go sk8te so get it now cause u know itz the the stuff so buy THPS 1 Before u go for tha sequal so if u wanna talk hit me up at my e-mail adress or aol instant messenger at (southCHIboi) al'ight lata.

i never get bored to play this game..and i really,really,really love the song
The game is divided into two types of levels. In the first, you skate around locations like a mall, a city street, or a warehouse. In each of these areas, there are 5 goals for the you to complete. Some goals involve obtaining a high score, others smashing objects, and some collecting objects. For every goal you complete, you earn a video tape. By collecting enough video tapes, you unlock levels and skateboards for you to use. There are 6 levels like this. The second type of level is a competition. You get to make 3 timed runs through a skate park, and attempt to get the highest score possible. If you do well enough, you will beat the scores of the computer controlled skaters and win a medal. There are 3 levels like this. 

There are nine real life pro skaters you can choose to play as, including Tony Hawk himself. Each skater has their own signature moves that earn you big points if pulled off successfully.
