The CD32 was Amiga's second foray into the world of CD games consoles. It was the world's first 32bit console and did somewhat better than the CDTV. It was still ahead of its time, however, so despite having a slightly enhanced version of the AGA chipset, a 68020 processor and expansion capabilities allowing for hard drives, keyboards, MPEG decoders and the suchlike it still never took off as hoped. It was, however, a rather amazing machine and because it was basically an Amiga1200 with a built in CDROM.
