With the introduction of the Afterburner, hand held gamers were treated to a whole new level of game play, never before enjoyed.  While virtually everyone in the gaming community agreed that the GBA was an amazing hand held console (and of course it is), one of the biggest flaws - and biggest annoyances was the lack of a back light or some external form of light that would illuminate the screen properly and enable gamers to play their GBA in all light conditions.  Afterburner for the GBA solved the problem - gamers rejoiced, finally a lighting solution that really made it possible to play all games, all the time, regardless of the lighting conditions of your surroundings.  Afterburner continues to be a very popular item.  However, many customers were set back by the amount of work involved to install this backlight internally (actually a front light).  It requires some soldering skills, along with some cutting of the original GBA case (not noticeable from the outside of the unit once completed) and the addition of a dimmer dial to enable you to turn the brightness up or down.

Customer after customer asked whether or not there was an equally good solution, but without the complex installation.  We had been forced to tell customers that there simply was not....  Until now.    Introducing the GBA Halo light by Innovation which is an extremely easy way to light up your GBA games.  Many of you are thinking you should wait to get an SP the new gba handheld from Nintendo. If you have not seen an SP let me explain:The SP actually is not a back lit screen. It has 2 lights on the left and right of the screen under the protective screen which you can turn on and off to save battery power wether you are in openlight or darkness. It looks more like a normal gba screen with some light reflected in it. You will be dissapointed when you actually see it. The Halo light uses an expensive LED display screen with intricate lighting of LED's thruought that actually create light directly on  top of the gba screen making it appear to be a backlit screen.Compare the old GBA with Halo and the new SP and you will  see that Halo looks better than SP!

The GBA Halo light  promises (and sure looks like) an excellent addition to your GBA™, and a great way to light up the games you play, without any real installation other than plugging it into the link port of the GBA and replacing the GBA lens.  As you can see from the picture below, the screen is nice and bright, and well lit up.  Take note that what you see below was a production sample, so no scratches will be on the lens or the surrounding area - unless you put them there ;)   We're now taking orders today for the GBA Halo light  at a special introductory price of only $29.99.
