You must take control of the Boombots and stop the evil aliens that have captured the world’s housecats. There are a total of 15 Boombots to choose from, each with an array of punches and kicks, as well as unique grappling moves and weapons. When you are ready to fight, enter one of the 15 arenas and prepare for battle. Fortunately, there are a large number of power-ups hidden in each venue, including energy boosts that will make the fight a little easier for you. Once you collect enough energy, your Boombot enters Mongo mode and grows in size and strength. Graphically, the game retains the claymation feel that the Neverhood is famous for, and there are also a number of full-motion video sequences that are done entirely in claymation. The world is counting on you to help save the frightened felines in BOOMBOTS.
