The remote control for your reciever is IR while the PS3 take Bluetooth radio signals. To get a IR remote to work, you need a usb dongle (looks like a thumb drive) that will recieve IR and communicate like a wired game controller. I grabbed one from a Blu-Wave remote control. Think it was $20 and threw the remote away. I have it programmed to my Harmony1. I believe your remote has some universal programming capabilities, but dont believe that it will work. The dongle replicates your PS3 controller functions, so will need to program each button. There is no way to copy the PS button, so will need to turn on manually. Turning off, assign a macro to go all the way left then up on the XMB.
